Anti Climb Mesh

Anti climb 358 mesh is also know as prison mesh. It has very small apertures making it impossible to get a finger or toe hold onto the panels.

Immensely versatile, incredibly hard wearing and the first line of defence in high security fencing systems, 358 mesh is the number one choice anti climb fence system for everywhere from schools and business parks right up to police stations, secure units and Ministry of Defence facilities that require a dedicated level of security fencing.

The 4mm welded steel wires that form each mesh panel offers an anti climb fence feature, and with each panel fixed to a continuous flanged steel post using non removable shear nuts, the strength of 358 mesh ensures a great defence from vandals and intruders and it is ready to be upgraded to SR1 should your threat level increase at any point.

Why is it called 358 mesh?

The numbers 358 refer to the aperture and gauge of the wire in the old Imperial measurement.

The centre to centre measurements of our vertical wires is 76.2mm or 3 Inches
The centre to centre measurement of our horizontal wires is 12.7mm or 0.5 Inches
The 4mm wire used to create the mesh is known as Gauge 8
